Ken Pullum graduated in 1974 at City University, was awarded the FBOA (later FCOptom) in 1975 and the DCLP (later DipCLP) in 1978, and the fellowship of the BCLA 2006. He is currently principal optometrist in the scleral contact lens service at Moorfields and Oxford Eye Hospitals, and in optometry and contact lens practice in Hertfordshire. The majority of his time is dedicated to medical applications of contact lenses, in particular in the management of keratoconus, and in the development of modern scleral lens clinical practice methods, subjects on which he has lectured and written extensively in the UK and overseas. Publications include papers between 1984 and 2007 in Cornea, The CLAO Journal, The BJO, Eye, The Ocular Surface Journal, Contact Lens and Anterior Eye, Optometry Today, The Optician describing the development of modern scleral lens practice. Text chapters have been published in the 3rd, 4th and 5th editions of Contact Lenses, editors Tony Phillips and Lynne Speedwell, The Contact Lens Manual, editors Judith Morris and Andrew Gasson, Clinical Contact Lens Practice, editors Barry Weissman and Ed Bennett, and Contact Lens Practice, editor Nathan Efron.

Jennifer McMahon graduated in 1999 as a Dispensing Optician, then from Anglia Polytechnic University with First Class Honours in Optometry in 2003. Jennifer completed her pre-registration year at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK and continued to work there until 2010. She is currently Optometry Lead at The Great Western Hospital, Swindon, UK where she runs a specialist scleral contact lens service. Jennifer is Clinical Consultant for Innovative Sclerals Ltd and spends much of her time training optometrists, students and other eyecare professionals in scleral lens fitting. She has presented posters on the subject at BCLA, MCLOSA, ECLSO and HOAC conferences as well as the Oxford Ophthalmological Congress and has held lectures / workshops for the BCLA, at HOAC and for Optometry Masters / Moorfields Advanced Contact Lens courses. She also provides email and telephone support to clients of Innovative Sclerals Ltd.
